Tom Munro’s journey began in 1983 as a tile setter’s helper under his uncle Don. Over the years, he gained comprehensive experience in the tile and stone industry, spanning retail, wholesale, importing, manufacturing, and brand development. In 1994, Munro debuted the Supreme Surface Porcelain Tile Collection, distributed by American Equipment Marble & Tile. Building on this momentum, he founded Supreme Surface, Inc., in 1996, starting with a small showroom and growing through strategic product segments, quality workmanship, and innovative design. By 2000, Munro had expanded into granite countertop fabrication, establishing a state-of-the-art facility. His forward-thinking vision later led to the creation of Supreme Surface Cleaners LLC in 2011, filling a market gap for specialty surface care in cleaning, restoration, and preservation.
